Hayward AquaNaut 400 & 450 Lower Body 4-Wheel Black Met

The lower body 4-wheel (black met) is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The lower body was built to be the main housing unit for all the cleaners parts just like a chassis is designed for a car. This unit also acts as a protective cover for internal parts like the turbine, drive/reduction gears, and the steering bracket roller ensuring they are not disturbed by any outside influence or debris.

The part is black with the rear wheel guards being white to match the color scheme of the cleaner. There is also an opening in its center where the turbine rests above the suction inlet, allowing the dirt and debris to travel up through the hose assembly and into the pool’s filtration system.
