The bumper strap with weight is a replacement part made by Pentair for the Kreepy Krauly E-Z Vac aboveground pool cleaner. It is made from the same high-grade plastic material as the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This bumper was designed to aid in the protective battle of keeping your pool cleaner from taking on any damage that may occur while your cleaner maneuvers throughout the surface of your pool. The bumper rests on the backside of the cleaner and runs the length of thedrive tube, while also helping the cleaner maneuver through corners or off steps or ladders.

This part is aqua blue, its bottom attaches itself to the main body while the top of it attaches to theswivel assemblymaking it easy to identify for replacement or removal, especially when trying to access the other parts for the same reasons. Also, this bumper has a weight attached which helps balance the cleaner while its in the water and going through its cleaning process.
