These screws are meant to be a part of the mechanism and their purpose is to help attach and hold the cylinder as well as the connector chamber in place on opposite sides of the center chamber assembly. This ensures that these parts do not come loose or detach in any way while the cleaner is operating which ultimately would cause disruption during that process.

These screws are metallic as far as color goes and are smaller than the other screws needed for other various parts and items that come with the cleaner. Also, there is a total of 4 screws needed to complete this task, and can all be found in the head of the cleaner that floats atop the water which is also the housing unit for the mechanism Itself.
