Polaris 3900 Sport Turbine Gear Assembly (R0547400)

The turbine gear assembly is replacement parts that are made by Polaris. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. Making them genuine OEM products.

These parts were designed to be a part of the gearbox assembly which is essentially the drive train of the cleaner. This means the gears rotate while getting power from the pressurized water that is dispersed in the cleaner via the dedicated return line. It also rotates the drive sprocket ultimately rotating the chain that is connected to the wheel sprockets on the double wheel side. Giving the power and torque the 3900 Sport is famous for climbing your pool walls with ease and covering the entirety of its surface with speed and precision.

This turbine gear assembly comes with three sprockets that are black with teeth that run along the edges. It can be found in the gearbox assembly housed in the center of the cleaner which is able to be taken apart. If the cleaner is not moving because the wheels are no longer rotating then this probably means the gears have become worn or damaged and can no longer rotate the chain. Ultimately this means they need to be replaced to restore the cleaner back to its normal functioning capabilities.
