Pentair Racer Turbine Kit (360259) is a replacement part made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product. This turbine cover was designed to be a part of the drive system. Its purpose is to not only be a protective cover for the turbine but also to provide the high-pressure water that comes from the booster pump needed to rotate the turbine. The turbine then sends power to the wheels via the drive shaft kit giving the cleaner the ability to cover the entirety of the surface of the pool as it cleans.
