Hayward Navigator V-Flex Access Cover Assembly – Vinyl

The access cover assembly (vinyl) is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This is a great feature that Hayward created for the suction cleaners and the purpose of this door is to be removed if the cleaner seems to be having trouble operating as there can be debris caught in the turbine kit causing it the inability to rotate. So, by removing the access cover (concrete) you can locate the issue and remove anything that may be impeding the cleaners operating capabilities. This is also made for in-ground pools with a vinyl surface.

This door is white to match the color scheme of the cleaner and is held into place with a captive screw with clip on the bottom center opening on the cleaner. Also, there are grooves that lead to the mouth opening in the doors centers that help create a suction channel. This way the dirt and debris will flow up into the opening and out the cleaner and into the filtration system.
