The shaft kit that was built for this cleaner is special because the two objects that are included with it hold 2 of the 3idler gearsin place while also giving them the freedom to rotate. They then connect to the 3rdidler gear as well as thecam kitall of which help operate thelift brush, allowing the cleaner to turn or rotate out of trouble spots like drains, corners, and steps.

The parts themselves are made from a stainless-steel material and are smaller in size when compared to thelong gear shaft. The kit contains the small shaft as well as the shaft mounting screw, both very easy to identify when looking at the parts diaphragm or inside the internals of these cleanersand can be removed with the help of a large and small screwdriver.
