The screw is a replacement part made by Polaris. It is made from the same high-grade material as the original factory part. Making it a certified OEM product.
These screws are strategically placed throughout the cleaners to keep a tight hold and locking placement for all the cleaners parts. This ensures the proper operation the cleaners were designed for.
For the purpose of installation, you want to hand-tighten these screws as opposed to using a power drill. There is the potential for cracking or damaging the plastic on any other surrounding parts.
