This S.R. Smith Sealed Steel Deck-Mounted Stair Rail is a braced rail that is designed for use on stairs and sloped pool entries. These durable stair rails are made of high quality stainless steel that has been covered in StressLess Vinyl. This protective coating is applied to eliminate corrosion and ensure that the rails stay cool to the touch even in extremely hot temperatures. It also makes the Sealed Steel Deck-Mounted Stair Rails ideal for use in salt pools and other harsh pool environments. The rails feature WetTraction technology along the length of the rail that increases the traction when wet, preventing the rails from becoming slippery. Sealed Steel Deck-Mounted Stair Rails also include a rubber sealing cap on the end of the rails that completely seals off the inside of the rail from the outside environment. The Sealed Steel Deck-Mounted Stair Rails may not be used in heated pools or spas that have a water temperature greater than 100 degrees F.
